In focus

Well, I fly out on the 24th of March to Miami for the conference – time has flown! I’m looking forward to hooking up with lots of people in the industry, and hopefully I’ll meet a label who want’s to release my stuff; I’m really pleased with my latest batch of tunes; I’ve definately raised my game, and expect to attract some interest… fingers crossed.

Flying out there on my own is giving me a real focus in the studio; I’m no good without deadlines; I decided to go to the conference 6 months ago, but it’s only in these last few weeks that I’ve really focused on my sound, got it right, tweaked, improved, and moved on, and it’s giving good results; if nothing else, this trip will do that; make me focus on the quality of my stuff, as there’s no room for laziness now – what I produce now needs to be good enough for me to feel confident enough to give it to whoever I meet, and I’m gonna be meeting a lot of people….

It’s a double-pronged attack; I’ve been working on new versions of this site, plus a revamped MySpace site too; although I’m only going to put the extra energy into launching those once I’m totally happy with the tunes.. priorities, priorities!
