AIM: Hit me up

Checking the logs today I noticed that a few people have been searching for my AIM id – Sure, hit me up;

My AIM id is BluzeDnB

Nice one, catch you later.

Spamkiller – All hail the great MT-Blacklist!

Phew! Finally got rid of the 700-odd spam messages clogging up this blog. I was totally overwhelmed by the prospect of having to delete all that stuff by hand.

Thanksfully, thanks to a post of a discussion forum (sorry, terrible I know, but I can’t find the reference to it now) I discovered the MT-Blacklist plugin.

Half an hour of relatively mindless clicking, and all 700 adverts for viagra and bank loans were removed. Nice one Jay Allen!

OK, back to work. Sorry for the lack of posts people; It’s the busiest time of year here in the web design world, so as usual, fun stuff has to take a back seat for a bit. However, loads of music stuff is happening, not least of which is my transition to a more portable studio as the winter nights start to draw in; I fancy making tracks in front of the fire, so I’m putting my software on a laptop; More later…

Just this second heard that Ole Dirty Bastard has died. Two obituaries in a row!

He was working in the studio, complaining of pains in his chest, and 3 hours later he was dead.

Worse ways to go I guess, but still a shock to the Hip Hop community to lose a founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan, still on the up-and-up in many ways.

As a side-note, my blog’s getting heavily spammed by robots; if any other MT users know how to get rid of it all, I’d really appreciate the help – I don’t fancy spending the evening removing 700 odd comments one-by-one by hand!
